What is Scaly Boa Fish Skin?
This product is made from a boa fabric with a 1mm-2mm pile, fully embroidered with a scale pattern. The unique texture created by its uneven surface can be enjoyed. It can be used as a material to add texture and presence to plush toys and handmade crafts.

Why choose Uroko Boa?
When the fabric is stretched by stuffing cotton, the embroidery parts do not stretch and dig into the fabric. This creates a contrast between the fluffy boa fabric and the tight embroidery scales, enhancing the plump, three-dimensional effect.
With scale sizes as small as approximately 5mm vertically, they are easy to incorporate into plush toy production.
Even when used on plush toys around 10cm to 20cm, the pattern won't appear too large, resulting in a natural balance.

Since each stitch is carefully made with an industrial embroidery machine, the scale patterns are evenly and neatly spaced. This uniformity, which cannot be achieved by hand, gives the work a well-ordered beauty.

Materials and Manufacturing
While the fabric and embroidery thread are imported, all embroidery is meticulously completed in Japan by Nui&Me, using industrial embroidery machines to finish each piece individually. This is an original scale fabric, available only here.
Color variations by lot
Fabric and embroidery thread colors may vary depending on the manufacturing lot. For orders shipped together, we will do our best to provide items from the same lot. However, if you place orders on separate days, there is a possibility that materials from different lots will be sent. While the color difference in the fabric itself is minimal, embroidery threads tend to show more color variation between lots, so please be aware of this when making additional purchases.
Precautions for use
- Embroidery may fray from the cut edges of the fabric. We recommend finishing the edges after cutting.
- Due to the performance of the embroidery machine, there may be a few areas where stitches are skipped or loose. Please avoid using these areas, or if there is a significant defect, please contact us.
- Avoid ironing directly on the embroidered surface. Iron from the reverse side with a pressing cloth on a low setting.
- Hand washing is recommended.
- The embroidered areas are susceptible to snagging and friction, so please handle with care.

Creases from shipping
Due to shipping logistics, the fabric may have creases. If this is a concern, please gently smooth out the wrinkles with a low-temperature iron, using a pressing cloth from the reverse side.
